The adventures of MsMuuMuu

One of my favorite superheros is MsMuuMuu. She comes out when I am cleaning or feeling lazy. Wearing a muumuu is like having special powers. I seriously don't know why they aren't more popular. These powers include (but aren't restricted to) #1- A fun "swishy" feeling around the ankles from wearing a floor length dress #2- A coolness around the waist area that can get hot and sweaty. #3- Confidence from being fully covered, especially when stretching, moving and bending. #4- What I like to call the "snuggie effect." It is like walking around in a big blanket. When you are watching a movie, you don't have to get a blanket, just simply pull your feet up into the muumuu!

Today MsMuuMuu spent the whole day in her house watching movies and eating fudgesicles as she waited for the effect of her wisdom teeth surgery to wear off. She had a few battles to deal with that deserve some mentioning.

1. The laundry pile. Sometimes when Kara gets desperate for laundry, but doesn't really have the time (or will power) to fold the laundry. She just does it anyway and there will be a huge conglomerate of clean, unfolded laundry that coagulates onto the bed. MsMuuMuu faced this demon today.... and while it APPEARS that she failed... it is important to note that superheros don't always appear to win! Sometimes they have to chip away at their demons little by little until BAM! They win
2. Editor in Chief. MsMuuMuu was recently asked to read a new manuscript one of her friends had written. This task has been an exciting one. The new story has a huge potential, and she believes this book could be published. But it is also obvious that it was the author's first book. So MsMuuMuu has been on a battle of intellectual simulation to try and pinpoint exactly what should be done to make this book publishable quality. It is a task  she take most seriously.

  1. I would just like to comment that I don't think my head works very well with these pain meds. I really didn't think they would effect me that badly, but I have a hard time thinking clearly and I feel confused a lot... and my sentance and thought-flow can be groggy. Please forgive.
